I’m Alive and Level 58

"If you ever think you’re going to be close to death for a week, make sure your toon is sitting in an Inn. The last 2 weeks have been tough, usually if I’m sick, I can still sit a couple hours in front of the PC and get some leveling or blogging done, but not this time, spending days at a time on the couch and watching BAD TV is what I’ve been doing. Finally Saturday I was able to login to WoW and was happy to see I had parked my toon in an Inn and now had 61K of bonus XP (Woohoo). Saturday I was able to hit level 56 and 57, then Sunday I hit 58.. Woohoo Outland! I couldn’t wait, I took a small tour of Outland or at least Hellfire Peninsula and then before bed last night a few guildies ran me through Hellfire Ramparts and The Blood Furnace. I now am about 80% into level 58, slowly climbing to 60 When running through Hellfire Ramparts and Blood Furnace, it seemed all the drops were for hunters and not my Rogue, but the XP was great! This being one of the first instances that I actually helped and wasn’t just run through, I learned alot. I learned of some of the skills I need to work on for my rogue, like lock picking to my level (we had to skip a check because I couldn’t open it). Before heading into an instance, if I have time, read a little on what to expect, I didn’t expect the techs to be dropping mines and also that I could disarm them. This led me to dieing a couple times and almost one complete wipe (mines, me being low pulled 2 mobs, it wasn’t pretty). Other things this run helped on was learning how the group works together, from the symbols of who to attack first to just watching what others are doing instead of just yourself (this is huge and a hard thing to learn, it took probably 3/4 of the night till a couple light bulbs came on and I started watching who and what the leader was doing, where others are standing and really keeping an eye on my health and aggro.) All in all the run was great, yes at times I looked like a noob (and am!) I did have the group laughing at my noobness but I learned alot with that first grouping, I’m just glad that I’m with a guild that will run you through things like that, help you with your mistakes, explain things to you but still laugh at you.

"The first thing you need to do before you can really play World of Warcraft is create your character. As you are deciding on what kind of WoW character to create, one thing to keep in mind is that you can choose to be one of several different races of people. "If you are starting out in World of Warcraft and are looking for some great spots to farm gold, you have come to the right place. Gold farming can be a quick way to make some gold, but be warned, it can be monotonous. This article will reveal to you some of the best gold farming places and the best items to farm from these places. So if you are ready to farm some gold, let’s go! If you are looking for the best low level farming spot, that would have to be in Westfall. Look for a camp of Defias Trappers that are located on the western shore near the windmill. The Defias Trappers drop linen cloth over 70% of the time. But the greatest thing about this location is the respawn rate. It is impossible to kill every one of them before they respawn again. You can get tons of linen cloth this way quickly and easily. The only problem you will run into is having enough bag space to carry it all. Once you are mid level a good farming spot is in the Wailing Caverns. This is located in the Barrens. The mobs here are 17 to 20 elites. Look for the valuable Perfect Deviate Scale to be dropped. This items will easily sell for one gold per piece. Another good mob to fight is the Plains Creeper spiders located in the Arathi Highlands. These mobs will drop Spider silk about one times in ten. This spider silk is a component in level 19 twink items so it is in hot demand. It will sell for about one gold each. Another benefit to the Plains Creeper spiders is that they are a level 33 and can give you experience points also. Farming for gold doesn’t really start to profit until you reach the higher level.
When you get into the higher level gold farms, the items that are dropped are worth a lot more. You can really start to rack up a fair amount of gold at the higher levels. Read on to discover where some of these higher level gold farms are. Head to Tarnaris and look for the Lost Rigger cove located in eastern Tarnaris. You can get to this area by way of a tunnel on the western side of the mountain range. "The last class left for review is the Hunter. Hunters are the only pure dps class with a mana pool, yet they still perform as good as their counterparts. Hunters balance (or lack thereof) has recently come under scrutiny as they are non existent in top 2v2/3v3 and only decent in 5v5. What do Hunters bring to the Arena. Hunters bring the ability, like Warriors/Rogues, to absolutely decimate casters especially when they are accompanied by their pet. Hunters also have a nice ability called Viper Sting, a mana drain, which when coupled with mana burn is very nice. Hunters also have the ability to drop various traps; the most common one used in Arena is a frost trap. The frost trap releases a huge frozen area, which slows down anyone entering into it. Alot of top 5v5 teams use this to kite opponents around, minimizing their damage done and forcing the team to spread out. A new change to Hunters mana buff allows them to regain mana faster when it's lower, meaning Hunters do not become useless when nearing 0 mana. Hunters have two speccs that are proven to be effective in 5v5 arena. One spec that has recently been a favorite amongst Hunters on 5v5 teams is Beast Mastery specc. Beast Mastery is a specc that greatly increases the Hunters pets damage and then at the same time makes the Hunters damage greatly improve too. Bestial Wrath is an ability that turns the pet and Hunter into a 20 second ""god mode"" where they do 25% more damage and cannot be stunned/crowd controlled/anything. They are untouchable for that time. This is great because it removes pressure off of the healers as they don't need to dispell any cc's off of the Hunter. Beast Mastery Hunters can also shut down a healer or a caster very effectively.
The speed of their pet coupled with the speed of the Hunters attacks makes Casting almost impossible. If Beast Mastery is known for it's burst dps, then Marksmanship is known for its consistant dps. Marksmanship still has the ability, through Aimed Shot, to bring down an opponent quickly but it is more known for its ability to harrass the target quickly and constantly. Marksmanship is the spec used by the only Hunter on a top 20 2v2 team, and he leads his bracket with it. He plays with a priest, the only healer chemisty a Hunter has, and believes that Markmenship is the only real specc for top 2v2. He has tried Beast Mastery but prefers the constant damage of Markmenship and the abilities he gains through the specc. " "Rogues are another unique class that, like Warriors, do not have a mana pool to use abilities but rather an energy bar. wow gold An energy bar starts at full (100) energy and regenerates 20 energy every 2 seconds. A Rogue ability can cost anywhere from 9-60 energy. Rogues have a unique ability (which Druids can also do) to stealth, or turn invisible. This class also has abilities, called finishing moves (kidney shot, eviscerate) and the power of these finishing moves is determined by the amount of combo points (maximum of five) that the Rogue has built up. A Rogue generates combo points through the use of abilities, such as sinister strike, cheap shot, and backstab. wow gold The Rogue can sneak around undetected, which is often useful in surprising opponents. Rogues can also perform an unique type of crowd control (one that does not break on damage) called stunlocking. Rogues have cheap shot, which stuns for four seconds, kidney shot, which depending on combo points can range from 2-6 seconds, and gouge, which lasts for 6 seconds.

Mutiliate Rogues are known for their quick usage of cooldowns which combined with Mutiliate damage allows the Rogue to drop their target very quickly. buy wow gold The only downside to this spec is that the Rogue loses some of the survivability of Premeditation and Combat Speccs. None the less, Mutilate Rogues are popular in 2v2,3v3, and on 4dps 5v5 teams, mostly because of their ability to produce such quick damage. Another very popular specc for Rogues is Premed Daggers.
